As we all know the Animal print is big this season and I have a feeling it’s here to stay!!

Here is a sneak peak of my new purchases from Debenhams, it’s by Redherring at a great price of £27.99.  I wore it with some skinny jeans and a blazer but it would also look great with a pencil skirt, or an A-line leather skirt.

Add some color, greens, reds and oranges look amazing with Leopard print, don’t forget your killer heels or some ankle boots.

Shop your body shape

Every individual has a specific body shape exercising and diet can make us look our best and we can work on certain areas, but our shapes will not change the bone structure will always stay the same.

Here I will explain the five different body shapes  and show you that perfect “Little black dress” that will enhance and flatter in all the right places.

The Apple: for this body shape fit n flair can work well it creates a smaller waist line, remember the bust area if you have a fuller bust go for V-necks, also check lengths.

The Pear:  you tend to be broader on the bottom area the shape I recommend is the A-line, flared bottoms and the tops can be frilled, fuller depending on bust size etc.

The Triangle: Fuller at the top go for V-necks, halter necks also look great, team up with a fuller skirt for body shape balance.

The Ruler:  straight up and down this body shape looks great in  fit and flare, peplum fitted jackets look awesome and will create a perfect waistline.

The Hourglass:  This body shape looks great in most shapes but again its about cut and styles that flatter.

This casual Maxi can work well with the triangle shape, thin straps are a good choice. This is also a great shape for the Hourglass figure

A flared dress is excellent for the Ruler body shape as this will create curves and a waist- line

This lace dress would work well for the Pear shape it’s not to fitted and the sleeves have depth on the shoulder line, this would add balance for the broader bottom

The sheath dress for me is a yes for most body shapes, great on the Hourglass, Not so much if your fuller busted a V-neck would look great also on this style

This is a must have for the Hourglass body shape. Also the apple as the gathering at the waist line will create a smaller waist

Remember the no1 rule it’s not just the size of the dress that’s going to make it flattering on your body shape it’s the cut and style.  Take the Sheath dress for example if you have a fuller bust and are more triangle then try this style of dress with a V-neck and not round, this will work really well for you and flatter in all the right places.

When putting pieces together for example the Flared dress this can go from day to night, team up with a pair of pump shoes and a smart casual grab bag for the day, for night add some sparkle with a neckless or same chandelier earing’s and for the bag a nice satin clutch with matching heels in a bold color.  Remember it’s black so you can mix and match.

Cleanse and Polish

I love trying out new Beauty products but for me you just cannot beat the no1 cleanser that is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish hot cloth cleanse

20180417_190354It just work’s, with its amazing ingredients it really is for all skin types and I’ll explain why later..

There are many different skin types for example, Dry skin, this skin can feel tight and at times flaky. sensitive skin, this skin can feel hot and become red/blotchy, oily skin, this skin can cause breakouts/blemishes, normal/combination, this skin can have oily t-zones (forehead, nose and chin area) whilst other areas of the skin can feel dry.  Let’s not forget mature skin,  everyone ages differently and fine lines can start as early as 25 years of age for some, mature skin can become dryer with time and dull in appearance.  OH NO!! I hear you cry,  but don’t despair as Liz Earle is here.

I believe it starts with a healthy lifestyle meaning plenty of fruit, vegetables and off course exercise, lets not forget plenty of water to keep us hydrated. Water keeps the skin cells hydrated (it can’t turn back time) but drinking water will help keep the wrinkles away, it plumps the skin cells up so your skin looks more even and firmer.  Also it flushes impurities and toxins out of the system keeping your face fresh and clean and thus aid in reducing breakouts and acne.

Cleanse and Polish has naturally derived ingredients: Here are a few of my favorites.

Eucalyptus oil for skin,  invigorate, soothe and uplifting great for spot prone skin it will help with blemishes also and calm the skin. its a natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory.

Coco butter is a natural meltable oil extracted from the coco bean. excellent for its emollient properties it will help with healing dry sensitive skin.

Rosemary, the nutrients of rosemary can help protect the skin cells from damage often caused by the sun and free radicals. It is a great way to stimulate the skin.

Chamomile is full of antioxidants and  protect the skin from free-radical damage.  It is also known for its calming properties, thus soothes the skin and helps with breakouts.

So there you have it a cleanser that will help with dry skin as well as oily spot prone skin, for those that have sensitive skin you have your chamomile to help sooth and protect.  Mature skin well you have the gorgeous oils of the coco butter to help with dryness and any sensitivity.
This is my personal view and after using it for many years I highly recommend it. Why not pop into one of the Liz Earle counters and treat yourself to a complementary mini facial, you won’t regret it!!
